Kansas LCP Supervsion
I was fortunate to have some wonderful supervisors on my journey to becoming an independently licensed therapist. I also unfortunately had a supervisor who was not the best. These experiences have led me to pursue the option of providing supervision.
My first opportunity to provide supervision to therapists working toward independent licensure was when I was the clinical director of a residential center. It was at this time that I started the process of becoming an approved supervisor in Kansas.
Just as in therapy, when I provide supervision, I want to work with my supervisee to see what goals they wish to accomplish. I believe there are 101 ways to provide therapy, and the most important thing a supervisee can do is find what works for them. If a supervisee comes to me looking for direction on where to go next with a client, I will work with them to find the answer and not simply tell them what I would do in their shoes.

The main approaches I use are DBT, CBT, ACT, and IFS. I also integrated Christian spirituality if a client is seeking that.
If you would be interested in doing supervision with me, please contact me and I will reach out so we can discuss if we would be a good fit for one another.
